Admiring the rose among the painful thorns,
Across a plain green meadow,
To me, You are the sun who lights the morn,
And me, a mere dark shadow.

I'm a just a figment of your imagination,
An element to be forgotten,
U wave "hi" as a mere salutation,
My heart stops because it's smitten.

Your fair face etches in my mind,
The dimples accentuating how cute you are,
Everytime u walk, u shine,
like a star so near yet far.

A soft breeze wafts ur sweet scent to me,
making me admire ur flowing hair,
How i wish we are a pair,
Everytime ur eyes interlock with mine.

"We cannot be together",
something i've always said,
to myself and the others,
If it does, then its fate. :)
